Illinois Auto Truck Puerto Rico

Illinois Auto Truck Co., Inc. (IATCO) was founded in 1939 by Fred Greenberg as an independent truck parts jobber in the Chicagoland area. Early in the 1940’s IATCO began manufacturing and supplying replacement components for the rebuilding of heavy duty clutches. Fred Greenberg’s son-in-law, Leonard F. Stein joined the company in 1946. Later in the 1960’s the truck parts jobbing aspect of Illinois Auto Truck wound down in favor of concentrating on the manufacturing of heavy duty replacement clutch components.

IATCO’s current President Richard H. Stein joined the company in 1974 and represented the third generation of Illinois Auto Truck. The company evolved from not only supplying components to the remanufacturing industry but to also assembling those components into complete clutch assemblies to supply the heavy & medium duty clutch market. Most recently in 2008 the fourth generation joined the family business with Jordan R. Stein. Jordan now holds the title of VP, Sales & Marketing for IATCO.

Aside from its many independent customers, Illinois Auto Truck also boasts supplying many private label brands to a number of Original Equipment Truck Manufacturers to service their aftermarket dealer requirements. In doing so, IATCO has proudly been named “Supplier of the Year” twice for Paccar Parts, the international parts supplier branch for Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF trucks. More recently, Illinois Auto Truck has been named a supplier for Navistar Dealers in the international market and has also been named the preferred clutch supplier to VIPAR Heavy Duty Truck Parts.
